Deeksharambh Student Induction Program (SIP) is organized online by Department of BBA,
BBA-CA and Bsc Computer Science of AKI’s Poona College of Arts, Science and Commerce under
the guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. Aftab Anwar Shaikh, Vice Principal Mr. Iqbal Shaikh, HoD of
BBA-CA and In-charge HoD of BSc Computer Science Dr. Shabana Shaikh and HoD of BBA Mrs.
JahanAara Pathan from 26th October to 30th October 2021. Total 266 participants were present for
this event.
One of the most difficult transitions in a student’s life is from high school to university/college life.
When new students enter a college, they bring with them a variety of ideas, backgrounds, and
preparedness. They are thrust into a strange setting, and the majority of them have no prior experience
with a university or college. As a result, welcoming new students to Higher Education and preparing
them for their new position is a vital duty. Most universities are currently doing very little, with the
exception of a two-day orientation programme.Student Induction is intended to assist you during the
process. As a result, it should be treated seriously and as more than just an orientation programme.
