The Department of Chemistry organized an industrial visit to Lavender Laboratories Pvt. Ltd., Hadapsar, Pune on February 3, 2025 for TYBSc and MSc Chemistry students.
The visit aimed to provide students with hands-on experience and exposure to industrial practices in the field of chemistry and interaction with the Managing Director to learn the expectations of the pharma industry.

Lavender Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. is a leading manufacturer of pharmaceutical and cosmetic products. The company has a state-of-the-art research and development facility, equipped with modern instruments and equipment.

During the visit, students were taken through various departments, including:

  1. Quality Control Laboratory: Students observed the quality control processes, including sampling, testing, and analysis of raw materials and finished products.
  2. Research and Development Laboratory: Students saw the development of new products and formulations, including the use of modern instruments like HPLC and GC.
  3. Interaction with the R&D team and Managing Director.
