The Department of English and Post- Graduate Center in association with IQAC, under the guidance of Principal Dr. Iqbal Shaikh and Vice Principal Dr. Amjad Shaikh successfully hosted an enlightening event titled Live Training on ‘How to Become a Good Orator ’ on 03rd February 2025.
The event was well-received by students and faculty members, creating an engaging and insightful learning experience. It aimed at empowering students with practical techniques to improve their public speaking abilities. It also helped them nurturing leadership and self-expression. It also motivated students through expert insights and practical tips on building confidence and becoming effective speakers.
The session focused on key aspects of public speaking, including voice modulation, body language, confidence-building techniques, and effective communication strategies. The resource person, Dr. Shweta Gupta provided valuable insights and practical exercises that helped participants refine their oratory skills. The interactive nature of the training encouraged students to actively participate, ask questions, and practice spontaneous speeches. The feedback from attendees is positive, with many expressing increased confidence in their public speaking abilities. Overall, the event was a great success, fulfilling its objective of training students with essential oratory skills that will benefit them in their academic and professional journeys.
