The Department of Chemistry organized a High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) hands-on training program on February 3, 2025 for TYBSc Chemistry students at Vishwa Connectom Pvt. Ltd., Hadapsar, Pune. The training aimed to provide students with practical experience in operating HPLC instruments and analyzing samples.

Objectives
- Understand the principles and instrumentation of HPLC.
- Learn the operation and maintenance of HPLC instruments.
- Gain hands-on experience in analyzing samples using HPLC.
Training Details
The training program consisted of introductory theoretical concepts related with three instrument & hands-on session covering the important aspects of analysis including:
- Instrument setup and calibration
- Sample preparation and injection
- Method development and optimization
- Types of the Column
- Data analysis and interpretation etc Learning Outcomes
A quiz based on topics covered during the training session was conducted to evaluate the understanding of the students as an outcome of the training program.

The HPLC hands-on training program at Vishwa Connectom Pvt. Ltd. was a valuable learning experience for TYBSc Chemistry students. The training provided students with practical experience in operating HPLC instruments and analyzing samples, which will help them understand the theoretical aspects of HPLC included in the syllabus.
