On the occasion of International Education Day, a special program was organized on 28th January 2025 as part of Zoo Fest-2025 under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Iqbal N. Shaikh and Vice Principal Dr. Amjad Shaikh and Head of the Department, Dr. Mujeeb Shaikh. The program was coordinated by Mrs. Shabista Shaikh, Assistant Professor in the Department of Zoology.The event highlighted the significance of education in building a sustainable future.
The program commenced with an insightful introduction by Safiya Shaikh, a student of M.Sc. I Zoology, who eloquently set the tone for the day’s activities. This was followed by an expert talk delivered by Mrs. Shabista Shaikh, Assistant Professor in the Department of Zoology. Her talk emphasized the interconnection between education, environmental sustainability, and the need for global awareness of biodiversity conservation.
To further engage the participants, various interactive games were conducted. These games aimed to promote awareness about International Education Day and its importance in fostering knowledge about global challenges. Enthusiastic participation made the event both educational and entertaining. Winners of the games were felicitated with gifts, encouraging more active involvement and acknowledging their efforts.
The lively proceedings were anchored by Shumaila and Safiya Shaikh, whose vibrant compering added a dynamic touch to the event. The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Sariya Shaikh, a student of M.Sc. II Zoology, expressing gratitude to the organizers, participants, and the guiding faculty.
