On September 4th, 2025, the students of B.Voc at Poona College of Arts, Science, and Commerce celebrated Teachers’ Day with great enthusiasm and gratitude. Under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Iqbal Shaikh, the students express their gratitude to the teachers who have been instrumental in shaping their academic journey.

The program began with the recitation of Tilawat-E-Quran by Kazi Abdullah student of BVoc BFSI followed by felicitation of B.Voc teachers, including Mr. Farooque Shaikh, Dr. Imran Baig Mirza, Dr. Shirin Shaikh, Mr. Umar Shaikh, Dr. Riyasat Peerzade, Ms. Nikhat Hurzuk, Ms. Farheenshama Shaikh, Dr. Gazala Pathan, Ms. Shahin Shaikh, Mr. Shakil Akhter, Ms. Isra Khan, Mr. Wasim Shaikh, Ms. Fayeza Shaikh, Mr. Aman Sayyed, Ms. Zenia Kuwaise, Mr. Mudassir Shaikh & Mr. Sajid Shaikh.
The students presented flowers and beautifully customized gift to their teachers as a token of appreciation. Principal Dr. Iqbal Shaikh delivered a motivational speech, inspiring students to excel in their academic pursuits. He emphasized the importance of hard work, dedication, and perseverance in achieving their goals. Dr. Imran Baig Mirza led an interactive session, emphasizing the significance of attendance and academic diligence.
Mr. Farooque Shaikh, Nodal Officer of B.Voc, thanked the students for their efforts and motivated them with valuable words. He expressed his gratitude to the students for recognizing the efforts of their teachers and encouraged them to continue showing respect and appreciation for their mentors.
The highlight of the event was a series of engaging games planned by students for their teachers. The games were thoroughly enjoyed by all, and the teachers’ excitement and energy were clearly visible. The students had planned the games meticulously, and the interest and participation of the teachers made every game a memorable moment.
A total of 170 students from various disciplines, including SD, MLT, BFSI, and TTHM, participated.
The successful execution of the event was ensured through the tireless efforts of student volunteers from all B.Voc departments, with Mr. Farooque Shaikh providing expert coordination and oversight.
The Teachers’ Day celebration was a testament to the strong bond between the students and teachers of B.Voc, and it reinforced the importance of appreciating and recognizing the efforts of educators who shape the minds of future generations.
