Quiz Competition
Title: “Kon Banega Zoologist”
Theme: Animal Diversity and Human Welfare
The Department of Zoology successfully conducted class level Quiz Competition on 9th September 2025. The theme for the competition was “Animal Diversity and Human Welfare”, aimed at fostering academic curiosity and enhancing subject knowledge among students. The competition was exclusively organized for Second Year B.Sc. Zoology students. The total 19 students were participated in quiz.
The competition was conducted in three rounds:
First Round: Online Test conducted under controlled conditions to ensure discipline and fairness.
Second Round: Oral quiz based on rapid-fire and conceptual questions.
Third Round: Final oral round to determine rankings among top-scoring groups.
Based on the performance across the rounds, three groups were selected and awarded First, Second, and third ranks respectively. The highest-scoring students were felicitated with trophies by Dr. Mujeeb Shaikh Head, Department of Zoology.
The technical session of the quiz competition was efficiently handled by Mr. Mubeen Shaikh, ensuring seamless execution of the rounds and scoring. The entire event was coordinated by Dr. Kalim Shaikh, who also delivered the Vote of Thanks at the conclusion of the program.
All faculty members of the Zoology Department were present and actively contributed to the successful organization of the event. Participants shared oral feedback, expressing appreciation for the informative and interactive nature of the competition.
The event concluded on a positive note, with encouragement for more such academic activities to be conducted in the future.
