A guest session on “Effective English for Professional Success” was organized on 4th November 2025 for the students of FYBBA, BBA (CA), and BCA. The session was conducted by Dr. Cassie DeFillipo, English Language Fellow, U.S. Department of State.
Dr. DeFillipo conducted an engaging and interactive session filled with lively discussions and practical activities. She emphasized the importance of effective English communication in professional contexts, highlighting how clarity, confidence, and purpose in language can enhance career prospects, strengthen teamwork, and help create a lasting professional impression.
As part of the session, a diagnostic test was administered to all students to identify their strengths and areas for improvement in English. The test aimed to help learners recognize their individual language needs and guide them towards more focused skill development.
The session was insightful and inspiring, motivating students to polish their communication abilities and use English effectively for academic and professional success.
